The Marisol Alvarez | Graphic Design brand identity was created to embody clarity, sophistication, and energy — defining the visual foundation of a growing creative studio built to serve both small businesses and global brands.


This identity reflects the core philosophy behind my design practice: clean, professional, and innovative solutions that solve business challenges through strategy and visual impact.


Brand Concept


The design goal was to develop a timeless and adaptable visual system—one that conveys confidence and creativity across all print and digital platforms. The result is a brand that feels refined yet energetic, balancing minimalism with expressive detail.


The identity combines modern typography (Century Gothic) with the elegant, handcrafted touch of Zooja, creating a dynamic interplay between structure and personality. Every element—logo, monogram, badge, and color palette—was designed to communicate clarity, elegance, and professional integrity.

The Simply Gaudy Photography brand identity was developed to embody luxury, artistry, and bold self-expression — a visual narrative that celebrates confidence through a fusion of modern opulence and classic refinement.


This project reflects the essence of high-end photography branding: a striking balance of sophistication and individuality. The design draws inspiration from fashion houses and fine art, merging geometric structure with ornate detail to create a brand system that feels both timeless and audacious.

The creative direction for Simply Gaudy centered on the concept of “elevated extravagance” — redefining gaudiness as something unapologetically stylish and expressive. The goal was to craft a premium visual identity that communicates artistic confidence, emotional depth, and a sense of visual drama worthy of luxury photography.


The primary logo features an interlocking monogram, symbolizing the interplay of structure and creativity. Paired with elegant, handcrafted typography, it conveys both professional precision and artistic fluidity. This identity reflects the essence of teamwork and the joy of motion. Through dynamic shapes, meaningful color choices, and adaptable logo applications, the brand conveys strength, balance, and collective energy.


Brand Concept


The creative direction for Sycuan Run Club centered around the concept of momentum and belonging — a visual system inspired by the rhythm of running and the vibrant landscape of Sycuan. The goal was to create a cohesive identity that feels powerful, modern, and deeply connected to community, land, and culture.


The logo integrates fluid, interconnected lines forming the initials “SRC,” symbolizing continuous movement and progress. Accompanying the design is a roadrunner — an animal often seen around the Sycuan Casino area — representing speed, endurance, and agility. This local reference brings a sense of place and authenticity to the identity, tying the club directly to its environment.


The custom mountain graphics featured on the running shirts reflect the distinct landscape surrounding the Sycuan region, grounding the brand in the natural beauty and resilience of its home terrain. Together, these elements express motion, connection, and pride in local identity.

BRAND IDENTITY | LOGO | PARTY FAVORS DESIGN | ABRAHAM DURAN BAPTISM

The Abraham Duran Baptism brand identity and party favors design were created to bring elegance, personalization, and modern keepsake value to a meaningful family celebration. Instead of traditional party favors, the concept focused on designing something timeless, useful, and memorable — a personalized portable power bank guests could cherish long after the event.


This project combines thoughtful branding with intentional design, creating a minimalist yet symbolic visual identity for a child’s milestone celebration. Every detail — from font selections to color palette and vertical monogram layout — was crafted to feel modern, spiritual, and worthy of commemorating a special day.


Brand Concept


The creative direction centered around simplicity, symbolism, and longevity. The goal was to design a custom favor that felt more like a personalized gift than a typical event keepsake — something practical, stylish, and visually meaningful.


To achieve this, I designed a vertical monogram featuring “ABRAHAM DURAN” arranged in a clean, elegant composition. The subtle graphic accent — inspired by a baptismal water droplet and the gentle curve of a cross — adds emotional depth without overwhelming the design.


The minimal layout paired with refined typography created a mark that feels both modern and spiritual, making the item sophisticated enough for adults while still honoring the purity of a baptism.


Two design options were developed:


Design 1:
A vertical monogram with a soft, symbolic cross-inspired curve, using Pinot Grigio Modern Light for a clean and graceful aesthetic.


Design 2:
A geometric monogram layout with rhythmic linework, using Fairwater Sans and Kaneda Gothic Regular for a modern, stylized interpretation of initials and structure.


Both designs were made to complement the sleek, glossy blue exterior of the portable power bank.

These colors create a refined contrast that feels both elevated and symbolic of tradition.

– Custom artwork sized precisely for the imprint area (.5"H x 2.25"W)
– High-resolution renderings illustrating the power bank from multiple angles
– Packaging mockups aligning with the final identity

Blue — calmness, spirituality, trust, and timeless elegance
White — new beginnings, purity, and emotional clarity


Together, these tones create a serene and meaningful identity aligned with the sentiment of a baptism.
